Less than 2 hours left until the end of our second Spicy Dicey Kickstarter campaign. This has been a wild ride. To close things out, we want to show you something special: this is the very first “real” set of Spicy Dicey. After 15 iterations, this was the first set where the idea truly came together — the moment where I thought: yeah… this could actually be a thing. This set has been through countless hands. It’s been sampled, shown at conventions, photographed, filmed, and used for marketing more times than we can count. It has done everything a prototype can do — except roll on an actual game table.

It kicked off this weird, spicy journey we’ve taken together over the last few months — and honestly? It’s absolutely wrecked. The D20 from this set is still glued to a fake miniature living-room scene somewhere in my basement, left there after appearing in this video:

And over time, the dice themselves took a beating. Turns out throwing dice into hot sauce repeatedly is… not great for the polish. Who could’ve known. Between then and now, I’ve made around a dozen more sets, many of which were gifted or sent out for reviews — but this one remains the original. Once this campaign ends, we’ll be starting the next chapter of Spicy Dicey. And I’ll do my best to restore this battered prototype to its former shine, so it can finally take its rightful place on a real game table — as the very first set of Spicy Dicey.
